Br. Skilbred landbruk AS is a player in Skien that has established an innovative biogas plant. The plant's main task is to process manure into biogas and bioresidue, and it is the first of its kind in Telemark. Through this technology, methane emissions are significantly reduced compared to traditional manure management, which contributes to more sustainable management of the environment.
The project has a total cost of 15.5 million kroner, of which part of the funding comes from Innovation Norway. Br. Skilbred landbruk AS focuses on the sustainable use of natural resources and aims to contribute to the green shift and the circular economy. The farm, known as Skilbredgaard, combines creativity and functionality to redefine the operation of traditional Norwegian agriculture.
