jem & fix Skien is a low-cost DIY store that offers a wide range of building materials and accessories. The store has a drive-in solution that makes it easy to load large items such as lumber and paving stones. The assortment also includes products for the garden, car equipment and household items, as well as environmentally friendly alternatives such as organic seeds and cleaning products.
As part of a Danish DIY chain, which aims to become Scandinavia's largest, jem & fix opened its first stores in Norway in spring 2018. The store in Skien focuses on DIY projects and offers resources for "Fix it yourself". In addition, they support local initiatives and community projects, and offer a newsletter with monthly gift card raffles.
