Langelandskollen is located in Skien and offers a moderately demanding hike of 9.0 kilometers, which takes about three hours to complete. The hike starts from a forest clearing opposite the parking lot, and there are clear signs along the trail towards Kam. This scenic trail leads to a viewpoint with panoramic views of the North Sea and Melum. For those who want to enjoy the view of Lifjell, it is possible to walk a little further at the top.
At the top of Langelandskollen there is a well-equipped gapahuk that is always open for use. Near the gapahuk there is a campfire site with simple benches, ideal for a break with a view. In addition, Siljuknatthytta is available all year round, which allows for a shorter stay in nature.
