Skien Sluse is part of the Telemark Canal and offers visitors the opportunity to experience the canal with their own boat. Through eight lock systems and 18 chambers, boats are raised 72 meters above sea level. The lock system is owned and operated by Telemark Canal FKF, which ensures that all facilities are serviced during the season from June 21 to August 15, with opening hours from 09:00 to 18:00.
