Grenland Recycling IKS is an intermunicipal company that manages waste management for the residents of Bamble, Porsgrunn, Siljan and Skien. The company offers services for waste separation at source and has developed a new waste strategy. Residents have the opportunity to deliver textile waste at the recycling stations, which also provide information on the handling of alien species.
There are three recycling stations for private households in Grenland: Rødmyr, Pasadalen and Eik. Grenland Recycling IKS offers digital services via "My Recycling", which provides an overview of waste management. The company also organizes activities such as Rusken, Vårryddedagen and Strandryddeuka to promote environmental awareness and participation in the local community.
