The follow-up class Slusa, formerly known as the Sluseprosjektet, is an educational institution that offers adapted education for young people. The class is part of the Norwegian upper secondary school system and is aimed at students who need extra support to complete their education. The goal is to provide these students with a safe and inclusive learning arena, where they can develop their skills and achieve academic goals.
Slusa focuses on individual adaptation of the teaching, so that each student has the opportunity to learn at their own pace. This includes both academic training and social competence, with an emphasis on strengthening the students' self-confidence and motivation. Through a varied teaching offer and close follow-up from teachers, the school works to facilitate positive development in each individual student.
