OSS & RM Training Office for Sales, Service, Restaurant and Food has its origins in Skien and offers vocational training in several professions, including sales, service, tourism, IT, as well as restaurant and food. The office collaborates with 158 member companies, which gives apprentices the opportunity to gain practical experience in relevant industries. Emphasis is placed on maintaining good relationships between apprentices and companies, which contributes to a high completion rate among apprentices.
In addition to offering apprenticeships, the training office arranges gatherings and courses for apprentices to strengthen their competence and network. Newsletters are also sent out with updates on current issues and vacancies, which can be useful for both apprentices and member companies.
