Skotfoss School and Kindergarten is located in Skien and offers education for children of primary school age. The school emphasizes a varied and engaging learning environment, where physical activity and cooperation between students, teachers and parents are central elements. There are various councils and committees that promote cooperation and participation in the school's activities.
One of the unique activities at the school is "Fright and Horror Week", which includes decorations and activities with scary themes. In addition, the school participates in "Aksion Burot", an initiative to reduce allergenic plants in the local area. The school also offers spooky reading hours in an atmospheric loft, as well as running rounds for fundraising campaigns, such as the TV campaign. To promote play and activity, the school has recently had new playground equipment installed in the schoolyard, and the school health service is available to support the health and well-being of the students.
