Grenland Næringsforening has been a key player in the business community since 1884, and acts as a voice for businesses in Grenland, regardless of industry, size or geographical location. The association facilitates collaboration and synergies between members, and has an extensive network that gives members opportunities for influence and access to resources. With a growing membership, the association strengthens its influence in the region.
The association focuses on sustainability and circular economy, and organizes seminars and growth conferences to promote these topics. In addition, Grenland Næringsforening offers job meetings and job portals to support local labor. Through Telemark Styreportal, they work to strengthen board work and increase diversity in the business community. Grenland Næringsforening took over the operation of the Skien Chamber of Commerce in 2021, and has since then expanded its offerings to members.
