Tjensas Kindergarten consists of four units: Satelitten, Tjensås, Tjensvoll and Lassamyra. The kindergarten aims to build community among the children and emphasizes cooperation with the parents' association to strengthen the relationship between home and kindergarten. This cooperation is part of a holistic approach that will promote a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
To ensure high quality in the offer, Tjensas Kindergarten has developed a strategy that extends towards 2030. The kindergarten adapts to the current Kindergarten Act and framework plan, and has implemented interdisciplinary kindergarten teams to meet the children's different needs. In addition, they have planning days and specific holiday rules that have been developed to provide a structured everyday life for both children and employees.
