Byhaugen Kindergarten is a parent-owned cooperative kindergarten, established in 1989. The kindergarten has five departments that emphasize outdoor activities, which gives children the opportunity to explore and play in nature. The location in quiet surroundings without through traffic contributes to a safe and stimulating environment for the children.
The large and hilly outdoor area provides space for varied play and activities, and the kindergarten also has its own Nature Group that focuses on nature experiences. Through its work, Byhaugen Kindergarten has a vision of creating good memories for children, adults and parents, which is reflected in their daily activities and approach to learning.
