Emmaus kindergarten consists of two municipal kindergartens, Emmaus kindergarten and Strømvig kindergarten. Emmaus kindergarten was established in 2006, while Strømvig kindergarten opened its doors in 2023. Both kindergartens aim to give children a good start in life, with a focus on their development and well-being.
The kindergartens work according to a strategy for quality in Stavanger kindergarten towards 2030, which includes interdisciplinary teams. These teams are put together to support the children's development in various areas. In addition to the educational work, there is active cooperation with parents through a parents' association and various committees, which contributes to good cooperation between home and kindergarten.
