Jatta kindergarten is one of the largest kindergarten buildings in the municipality of Stavanger. The kindergarten has a team of 25 educators who focus on safe transitions, play and inclusion. This provides a solid foundation for children's development and well-being in kindergarten life.
The outdoor area at Jatta kindergarten is designed for play and activities, which gives children opportunities to explore and be active outdoors. The kindergarten also has its own chef who prepares several hot meals a week, which contributes to a varied diet for the children. The Jåttå model, which involves an active start-up by parents, and the use of results from parent surveys, are important elements in the kindergarten's work for continuous improvement. Interdisciplinary kindergarten teams work to ensure the holistic development of the children.
