Ramsvigskogen kindergarten is part of a network that includes six kindergartens, including Nymansveien, St. Svithun, Steinhagen, Varden and Vassøy. Together, these kindergartens have the capacity to accommodate 300 children and employ approximately 100 staff. The kindergarten emphasizes building community between children and parents, which is a central part of their educational approach.
In line with the Stavangerbarnehagen mot 2030 strategy, Ramsvigskogen focuses on quality in the kindergarten offering. The kindergarten offers interdisciplinary teams that promote cooperation between different disciplines, which can contribute to the holistic development of the children. In addition, the kindergarten has an active parents' association and a parents' committee that gives parents the opportunity to participate in the kindergarten's activities and decision-making processes.
