UiS Library is the region's largest academic library, located at Ullandhaug in Stavanger. The library has a modern and vibrant atmosphere, and offers a 24-hour main library that gives users flexible access to resources. Through Oria, visitors have access to a wide range of academic literature, making it an important resource for students and researchers.
The library also offers a number of services to support academic development. Courses are arranged in thesis writing and references, as well as guidance in academic writing. Special offers are available for students with dyslexia or ADHD, and there are opportunities for drop-in support for reading and writing difficulties. In addition, various workshops and events are arranged that are adapted to the needs of students, as well as assistance with open research and the visibility of research.
