Architectural firm Helen & Hard AS was founded in 1996 in Stavanger and currently has offices in both Stavanger and Oslo. The firm consists of 26 employees with different cultural backgrounds, which contributes to a diverse approach to architecture. They work with a wide range of project types, including private homes, large mixed-use commercial projects, public cultural buildings, as well as transformation and urban development projects.
The firm focuses on creating new spaces with a poetic and systemic approach, combining natural and technological insights. Helen & Hard is dedicated to sustainable solutions and emphasizes material choices and social aspects in its projects. They actively participate in international architecture exhibitions, such as the Venice Biennale, and have developed projects such as Vennesla Bibliotek and Financial Park. Through the design process, they promote collaboration and sharing to maximize the unique potential of each individual project.
