Musikkorpset Gjallarhorn is a brass band from Stavanger that operates in the 1st division. The band has a varied repertoire that includes both classical and modern arrangements, and they play music in an "old fashioned big band" style. Gjallarhorn participates in competitions such as Siddis Brass, which helps to raise the quality of their performances.
During the corona pandemic, the band produced several music videos, where they focused on high quality in recordings by taking separate recordings of each musician. To attract new members, they have also made a recruitment film. Cooperation and community among the members are emphasized, which contributes to a positive atmosphere in the rehearsal room. The band practices every Wednesday from 7 pm to 10 pm.
