Stavanger Concert Hall, which was officially opened by Crown Prince Haakon on 15 September 2012, is located in Sandvigå, 700 metres northwest of the main square in Stavanger. The concert hall forms a new connection between Bjergsted Music Park and the city, and together with Stavanger Concert Hall at Bjergsted, it constitutes Norway's largest concert hall complex. The building has two halls, foyer areas with views of the sea, and a large outdoor amphitheater.
As a gathering place for music enthusiasts, Stavanger Concert Hall offers a varied program that includes shows, musicals, classical ballet and modern dance. The house hosts the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and arranges special anniversary performances, such as Mnozil Brass' 30th anniversary. In addition to performances, the concert hall also hosts exhibitions, including an architectural competition for a new theater and museum building. With a focus on both local and national artists, Stavanger Concert Hall creates an inclusive atmosphere that appeals to all age groups.
