Ullandhaug Tower is a tourist attraction located at the highest point in Sørmarka, 135 meters above sea level. The tower is 64 meters high and offers panoramic views of North Jæren from its balcony. Due to its height and location, the tower is visible from large parts of the county, making it a well-known landmark in the area.
Below the tower are the remains of Haraldstårnet, which was built in 1896. Also located nearby are 16 white marble stones in a circle, commemorating the Battle of Hafrsfjord. Ullandhaug Tower also functions as a telecommunications hub. During the pre-Christmas period, the tower is decorated with fairy lights, which gives it a special touch in the dark.
