FilmReg is an umbrella organization that brings together regional film centers and funds, with the goal of supporting and developing film projects in Norway. The organization collaborates with several film centers, including the West Norwegian, Central Norwegian and Southern Norwegian film centers, to promote film production and cultural development. This collaboration contributes to a strengthened film industry in the regions, and provides opportunities for the development of local talents and projects.
In addition to its work with film centers, FilmReg includes the International Sami Film Institute (ISFI) in its network. The organization actively participates in consultation input on the state budget and regulations, and arranges input meetings with political parties to promote the interests of film. Through these activities, FilmReg works to ensure a sustainable and diverse film sector in Norway.
