Saga Bok AS, established in 1995 by Randi Wedvich and Torgrim Titlestad, is a publishing house specializing in saga literature. Originally known as Erling Skjalgssonselskapet, the publishing house has evolved to become the only one in Norway that focuses exclusively on historical books, with a particular emphasis on Viking history and Norwegian royal sagas. Saga Bok has published several notable titles, including "Den siste vikinghøvdingen" and "Olavssaga", as well as the FLATØYBOK series, which is a comprehensive work published between 2014 and 2019 and has sold over 30,000 copies.
The publishing house places great emphasis on quality in both content and design, and the products are designed to be informative and aesthetically pleasing. Saga Bok targets readers of all ages interested in history and offers a diverse selection of historical books that promote Norwegian cultural heritage.
