Helsehuset Stavanger offers a free municipal health service for adults, with a special focus on changing lifestyle habits and coping with health challenges. The services include outpatient rehabilitation services and palliative care, which are tailored to individual needs. The health center also offers a cancer coordinator, as well as activities aimed at younger people with dementia, which contributes to a holistic approach to health and well-being.
In addition to the direct health services, Helsehuset Stavanger actively participates in research and development of municipal health services. This work is part of their efforts to promote evidence-based practice in collaboration with the municipal health service in Sør-Rogaland. Through such initiatives, the health center seeks to improve the quality of health services and support residents in their health challenges.
