Iron Age Farm is an open-air museum located on Ullandhaug in Stavanger, which offers visitors a unique experience of the Iron Age. The museum is built around a reconstructed farm from the migration period and provides insight into life and culture from this period. The farm has been rebuilt on the basis of archaeological finds from the 1960s, and consists of three houses furnished with authentic equipment and household utensils from the Iron Age.
Visitors can enjoy a fantastic view of Hafrsfjord while exploring the area. The museum also has a visitor center with exhibitions that highlight archaeological finds and the farm's history. Popular with families with children, Iron Age Farm offers a learning experience that combines both history and nature, with live fires in the original hearths as part of the experience.
