Bjergstedparken is a park in Stavanger known for its natural beauty and cultural activities. In 2025, the park will host Bjergstedfest, part of the city festival marking Stavanger's 900th anniversary. The event will take place from 24 to 27 April and will offer a varied program of music, dance, theater and visual arts.
During Bjergstedfest, there will be concerts, performances, free workshops and dance parades. The festival will begin with a 30-minute performance involving over 100 musicians and dancers. One of the highlights will be a classical gala where the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra will perform Mozart's Symphony No. 40. In addition, food trucks will be available offering a variety of food options for visitors.
