Industri Energi is one of the largest unions within the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO), with a membership of 80,000. The union represents workers from sectors such as oil, gas, land industry, management and technology. Members receive support on issues related to wages, rights, safety and framework conditions, and the union actively works to improve helicopter safety in the industry.
The union organizes national meetings every four years, with the next meeting planned for 2028. In addition to political work, Industri Energi offers courses and skills development for its members. They also celebrate the achievement of collective agreements through social events, and work for trade agreements that reduce tariff barriers.
