Jåtten School, established in 1898, is one of the oldest schools in Stavanger. Located in the Hinna district, the school offers a varied learning environment for its students. The school has an after-school program (SFO) that provides activities outside of school hours, and emphasizes well-being and a good learning environment.
The school has an active parents' council (FAU) and a cooperation committee (SU) that helps to strengthen cooperation between home and school. Jåtten School also includes cultural offerings through the Cultural School Backpack, which gives students the opportunity to participate in various cultural activities. The school has a strong connection to the local community and works closely with Stavanger Municipality to promote the development and well-being of students.
