Vaulen School is Stavanger's largest primary school, with a student population of 734. The school places emphasis on creating a good learning environment for its students, which is reflected in the various services and offerings available. These include school health services, as well as information about student leave and access to educational-psychological services (PPT).
The school has its own school routes and recess rules, and also includes a school after-school program (SFO) for students after school hours. There is active cooperation with the Parents' Working Committee (FAU), which helps to strengthen the relationship between home and school. Vaulen School participates in Den kulturellter skolesekken, which gives students the opportunity to participate in cultural activities and events.
