BUP Hinna is a department that offers assessment and treatment for children and young people with mental health problems, from 0 to 17 years of age. The department focuses on a number of conditions, including depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD and autism. Treatment is tailored to the individual patient, and an individual plan is developed for each individual.
The interdisciplinary collaboration with schools, kindergartens and municipalities is an important part of BUP Hinna's approach. Parents are actively involved as partners in the treatment process, which contributes to a holistic approach to the patient's needs. In addition, the department has an acute outpatient youth team that handles serious mental health crises, ensuring rapid response and support in critical situations.
