Follies Children and Youth Theatre is a cultural institution in Stavanger that offers free activities for children and young people. The theatre focuses on giving young people opportunities to explore artistic expression through theatre, dance and photography. Activities include a variety of dance classes including hip hop, jazz, modern dance, popping and ballet. In addition, practical training in acting techniques is offered, giving participants the opportunity to develop their skills in a professional environment.
The theatre also organizes Follies Summer Camp, which focuses on theatre production, as well as a social meeting place called "Alle som vil kan", which takes place every Wednesday. Here, participants have the opportunity to participate in productions together with experienced actors and musicians. Follies Children and Youth Theatre emphasizes creating an inclusive and inspiring environment for young talents, and also offers photography activities with access to a studio and darkroom.
