Campus Bjergsted is part of the University of Stavanger and houses the Faculty of Performing Arts. It offers studies in music, dance and theatre, giving students the opportunity to develop their skills in these art forms. The faculty has a student community of approximately 250 students and 90 staff, who together contribute to a creative and inspiring learning environment.
The faculty is known for hosting a number of concerts and festivals, including the annual Bjergsted Brass Festival. In addition to the traditional study programmes, students engage in various activities, such as student-run events such as Books & Beats. Campus Bjergsted emphasizes research and collaboration with cultural life, and has a strategy for development from 2021 to 2030. There is also an active student council that participates in the faculty's activities and contributes to an engaging study environment.
