Christian Bjellandsgate towards the south in Stavanger functions as a toll station within the Urban Environment Package in Nord-Jæren, which includes 38 toll stations divided into six toll sections. Toll collection is carried out in one direction, and a monthly limit for passes has been introduced for those who have an AutoPASS agreement. Adjustments to rates are made regularly to adapt to changes in traffic and infrastructure.
The station has specific rules for payment. There is an hourly rule that means that drivers only pay for one pass within 60 minutes. People with parking cards for people with mobility impairments are exempt from passing. In addition, zero-emission vehicles receive reduced rates, and from 1 September there is no requirement for an AutoPASS user agreement for the hourly rule. This makes the toll station adapted to different user groups and promotes environmentally friendly transport alternatives.
