Rv. 509 Madlaveien, towards the Northeast - Stavanger city centre, is a toll station that is part of the Urban Environment Package in Nord-Jæren. This package includes 38 toll stations spread over six toll sections, and toll collection is in one direction. A monthly limit has been established for passes for vehicles with an AutoPASS agreement, and there is also an hourly rule that makes it possible to pay for only one pass within 60 minutes.
The station has several special features, including exemption from passes with parking cards for people with mobility impairments. Zero-emission vehicles can benefit from reduced rates. From 1 September, an AutoPASS user agreement is no longer required to use the hourly rule. Adjustments to rates are made regularly to adapt to changes in traffic and other conditions.
