Bandorg is a nationwide expertise and interest organization for music groups, based in Stavanger. The organization offers support to bands through knowledge and financial resources, with a focus on development opportunities and framework conditions. The Bandorg scholarship is available to young musicians under 26 years of age, and training grants are also offered from the Norwegian Music Studies Association.
In addition to financial support, Bandorg offers instrument insurance all year round, as well as member benefits such as consulting, courses and the allocation of Frifondpenger. The organization works to promote collaboration and community among musicians, and through workshops and consulting, they give bands the opportunity to develop and succeed in the music industry.
