Cancer Care Rogaland offers psychosocial health care to people affected by cancer, including patients, relatives and survivors. The center has experienced professionals who provide individual conversations, couples conversations, as well as family work and group conversations. In addition to conversation therapy, they offer rights services and sexology services, as well as education and courses to increase knowledge about cancer and related topics.
The center also functions as a meeting place for children and young people, and offers training opportunities to promote physical activity and quality of life. Cancer Care Rogaland has a shop with meaningful gifts and provides opportunities for voluntary involvement. All services are free of charge, and there is no requirement for a referral to use the services. The focus is on supporting both patients and their relatives during a challenging time.
