Solheim kindergarten AS has five departments spread over three buildings, and offers a varied learning environment for children. The kindergarten focuses on safety, care, experiences and learning, and emphasizes creating a health-promoting environment. The location gives the children proximity to the beautiful Lofoten nature, which makes it possible to spend days outdoors with exciting activities.
In order to involve parents in the kindergarten's everyday life, a cooperation committee has been established. The kindergarten also holds planning days for continuous development of the offer. One of the unique activities is the Undringkuben, which is designed to stimulate children's curiosity and learning.
