Kunstnerhuset Lofoten is a visual arts center operating in Northern Norway, based in Svolvær. The center aims to promote art and culture in the region, and offers a varied program of exhibitions and art sales. The center is also known for organizing the Lofoten International Art Festival (LIAF), which attracts artists and visitors from Norway and abroad.
In addition to exhibitions, Kunstnerhuset Lofoten contributes to art dissemination through Den kulturellter skolesekken, which gives schoolchildren the opportunity to experience art in various forms. The center also supports artists by offering project funds and scholarships, and by maintaining a Northern Norwegian artist register to promote local talent. Through cooperation with Bodø Art Association, efforts are made to continue the exhibition activities, and pop-up exhibitions and theme exhibitions are organized, such as "Syv ganger solens farge".
