Svolvær Pistolklubb, founded in 1965, is an active sports club with over 89 members aged 13 to 83. The club has two facilities for training: an indoor pistol range in Våganhallen and an outdoor pistol range. With training opportunities all year round, the club caters for both beginners and experienced shooters. Safety courses and training are offered for new members, as well as the opportunity for test shooting for those interested.
The club has a diverse membership that includes both women and men, and it emphasizes inclusion by offering shooting sports for the elderly, disabled and physically challenged. Svolvær Pistolklubb actively participates in competitions and has organized local events, which contributes to positive development and great enthusiasm in the local community. The club is a member of the Norwegian Sports Federation and the Norwegian Sports Shooting Association.
