Universet student kindergarten is a kindergarten with five bases, each named after constellations in the solar system. The kindergarten has a unique interior with the Milky Way stretching across the roof, and each base is equipped with its own changing rooms, bathrooms and living rooms. In addition to the private areas, the children have access to common rooms such as Cassiopia, Saturn, Mars, Tellus, Venus and Mercury. The location provides proximity to nature, which is actively used in the kindergarten's daily activities.
The staff consists of kindergarten teachers, child and youth workers and assistants, all of whom have experience and expertise in their field. The kindergarten emphasizes a high professional focus and works to create good relationships and communication between children, parents, employees and partners. Universet student kindergarten also functions as a practice kindergarten for the University of Tromsø, which contributes to a dynamic learning environment.
