Tromsø Ice Hall is located in Templarheimen Sports Park and serves as an important arena for several sports clubs in the region. It is the home arena for Tromsø Ishockeyklubb, Tromsø Skating Club, Ishavsbyen Figure Skating Club, Boet Curling Club and Tromsø Stars. In the hall, visitors can watch ice hockey games and skating events, as well as take advantage of public open hours to go skating.
The facility is open to anyone who wants to skate, and there are opportunities to rent skates, helmets and support penguins for those who need them. It is recommended to wear warm clothes and gloves or mittens for a comfortable experience. Safety is also a priority, and it is recommended to wear a helmet when skating. Tromsø Ishall will be open from week 37 in the fall of 2025.
