RVTS North is a regional resource center serving the areas of Nordland, Troms, Finnmark and Svalbard. The center serves as a professional resource for professionals working with suicide and self-harm prevention. RVTS North has specialized expertise in refugee health and forced migration, as well as a focus on violence and sexual assault.
The center offers a range of services, including courses, guidance and digital resources for mental health professionals. In addition, they organize webinars and workshops to strengthen expertise in the field. RVTS North is funded by the Directorate of Health and is affiliated with the University Hospital of Northern Norway, which contributes to a broad and diverse professional environment.
