Norwegian Fjord Explorer Line offers unique Arctic cruise experiences with its ship MS Tromsø, which was built in 1956. The ship has facilities such as a restaurant, bar and kitchen, allowing guests to enjoy meals on board. With space for 70 passengers and 24 beds, it is designed for longer stays, and the atmosphere on board is informal, which promotes socializing among guests.
During the cruise experiences, guests can experience historical stories of polar exploration, as well as observe local wildlife such as small whales, seals, eagles and reindeer. There are also opportunities to learn about polar navigation. The observation deck gives guests a great view of the northern lights and midnight sun, which is a special experience in the Arctic regions. In addition, kelp-based biofuel is being developed on board, which contributes to sustainable practices in the business.
