The Tromsø Region Business Association is Northern Norway's largest business association and chamber of commerce, established in 1844. The association aims to create good framework conditions for its more than 800 member companies from various industries. It focuses on business development in Tromsø, Karlsøy, Balsfjord, Lyngen and Storfjord, and works to promote value creation and jobs in the region.
As a member-based organization, the Business Association is party-politically neutral and places the interests of the business community at the center of its activities. The association works actively with business policy issues of local, regional and national importance. During the year, a number of meeting places are arranged that will contribute to knowledge and inspiration for members, with a focus on strengthening both professional and economic development.
