The Tromso Kristensen-Rokenes Chiropractic Clinic, established on April 20, 1970 by Øivind Stokke, offers treatment for muscle and joint problems. The clinic has been located in Veitasenteret since April 2002, after many years in the Havnebygget building. It is centrally located at Stortorget, with the main entrance in Grønnegata, where there is also an elevator available.
The clinic is publicly approved and is a member of the Norwegian Chiropractic Association. It offers short waiting times and emergency appointments, as well as the option of sick leave if necessary. Patients can book an appointment without a doctor's referral. The chiropractic clinic also has the option of referring for X-rays, CT and MRI examinations, and collaborates with the University Hospital of Northern Norway (UNN) and private MRI centers. The clinic is affiliated with the Norwegian Health Network, which enables direct requisition of X-rays and access to X-ray results online.
