Håpet 1 housing association was founded on 10 July 1968 and consists of 104 apartments, divided into blocks and townhouses. The housing association includes eight four-room townhouses and 96 apartments in blocks, of which 32 are two-room and 64 are four-room. The buildings vary in height, with two blocks having four floors, while the other eight have three floors.
In 1990, an extensive rehabilitation of the housing association was carried out, which included upgrading the green areas and playgrounds. Furthermore, in 2009, the basements were renovated and the basements were waterproofed.
