Kinobox is a micro-cinema that specializes in artistic moving images. The cinema has a particular focus on films that illuminate female experiences, and explore themes such as intimacy, eternity and memories. Through documentary strategies, Kinobox creates cinematic portraits that capture the moments of everyday life and the invisible inner worlds.
The cinema is supported by Tromsø Municipality and the Norwegian Arts Council, which contributes to its ability to present unique film experiences. Kinobox also collaborates with Aurora Fokus Kino and Tromsø Kunstforening to promote artistic expression and strengthen film culture in the region.
