The SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge savings bank foundation aims to support charitable causes in Northern Norway and Svalbard. The foundation distributes gifts to projects that promote engagement and joy in the local community. In 2024, over NOK 62 million was distributed across 310 gifts, demonstrating the foundation's active role in contributing to community development.
The support schemes cover several categories, including leisure activities, inclusion, emergency preparedness, as well as youth and education. The application process is open from 1 October to 15 November each year, and it is possible to apply for support three times a year. The SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge savings bank foundation focuses on projects that have a positive impact on local communities within the bank's market area.
