Cafe 3B was established in Trondheim on 13 December 1985. The place originally started as an art cafe with paintings on the walls, and was located in the basement. In 1992, the venue was expanded by taking over the second floor, which helped to develop the concept further. Over the years, Cafe 3B has had several changes of ownership, but has retained its character and atmosphere.
The venue is known for its classic pub atmosphere and offers live music with a stage equipped with full PA and lighting. Cafe 3B has a varied program of concerts covering different styles of music, with a special focus on "Classic Rock" and tributes to bands such as AC/DC. In addition to the music experiences, the cafe has a wide selection of beer and whiskey, making it a popular meeting point, especially among students.
