The telephone booth in Thornesparken in Trondheim is an institution that manages a conservation plan for Telenor's buildings and installations. The kiosk showcases the development of telecommunications from 1855 to the present day, and has a collection of 100 protected telephone booths. In addition to the kiosk, the offer includes restored historical elements such as the telegraph station in Ny-Ålesund and Rundemanen radio, which was the first transmitting station in Bergen.
The site also contains the Doomsday Room, which serves as a testimony to the Cold War, as well as Signalbygg in Kongensgate, considered one of Oslo's most beautiful buildings. Furthermore, there is the Sjøkabellager in Dolviken, which has a specially designed interior, and Notodden-Hjartdal is also part of the historical collection. This diversity of services and exhibitions provides an insight into the history and development of telecommunications in Norway.
