Trondheim Public Library Risvollan is located in Risvollan center and offers a wide range of services to the residents of the district. The library focuses on digital solutions, with advanced search in Bibliofil, as well as a varied selection of physical media such as books, films, music, newspapers, magazines, audiobooks, language courses and games. In addition, visitors can borrow PCs with printers, tools and e-bikes.
The library organizes literature events for both children and adults, and has special offers for schools and kindergartens, including the possibility of a class library. A separate organizing group for young people, called Upolert, helps to engage young people in the library's activities. Risvollan Library also has a focus on inclusion, with offers for newcomers to Norway, as well as a section on the library's history and the cultural quarter as part of the offer.
Risvollan Library is open longer, which gives users the opportunity to access the library between 07:00 and 23:00 every day with an upgraded library card. Parking spaces are available around the center, with free parking for the first three hours.
