Dans Trondheim IL is a volunteer-based dance club that focuses on various dance forms, including swing, folk swing, bugg and boogie woogie. The club was founded on 4 August 2005 under the name Dans Med Oss, but later changed its name to Dans Trondheim IL. It is registered in the unit register with an organization number and is affiliated with the Norwegian Sports Association and the Norwegian Dance Association.
The club offers a varied program for both beginners and experienced dancers. A beginner's swing course is organized starting in January 2025, as well as private lessons in swing and bridal waltz. Dans Trondheim IL also organizes choreographed dances for stag parties and groups, as well as dance birthday parties for children. In addition, member meetings and Christmas parties are organised, which contributes to an active community for dance-loving people of all ages.
